The Lake
Stretching over 30 kilometers (nineteen miles) long, the Lake is an extension of the Saint John River system. Popular activities include boating, paddling, kayaking, swimming and fishing. Its connective water system to the Jemseg River leading to Grand Lake, or the Saint John River and Kennebecasis River make it a boating paradise in New Brunswick. Along the way visit marinas, restaurants and explore nature. It is no wonder that Washademoak means “the way to the other side” in the Wolastoqiyik indigenous language.
